Imagination is key in making exciting and unique albums. For example if you have a picture of your three year old riding a big wheel, adding a cut out of a black helmet will make the photo have a funny depth to it. Using out of the ordinary items is the perfect way to add flair to ordinary photos.
To get family and friends involved, host a Saturday afternoon birthday photo party. Send everyone invitations requesting them to bring a scrapbook album, photographs from a favorite birthday, and any decorative pieces that can be used in their album.
You could include a list of to bring items that specify an exact amount of photographs. For example, each guest is to bring twenty pictures from their last birthday party, regardless of how old the photos are. If you are sure no one has any items to bring, you could have everyone meet at the hobby shop prior to going to your party.
